Während seiner zweimonatigen Residency im KABUFF E-WERK widmet sich Jacek Vasina Staub als Material und sozialem Phänomen. Ausgehend von der Beobachtung der alltäglichen Aktivitäten in den Ateliers sowie der Reflexion seiner eigenen Präsenz im Raum untersucht Camper, wie künstlerische Produktion untrennbar mit ihren Nebenprodukten und den Bedingungen ihres Entstehens verbunden ist.

Staub, der sich im Alltag ansammelt und dessen Abläufe still mitzeichnet, erscheint dabei zugleich als Rückstand und als Speicher dieser Prozesse. Anstatt eine neue Installation zu setzen, begreift Vasina den bestehenden Raum – seine Ateliers, Objekte und angesammelten Materialien – als ein fortlaufendes Tagebuch.

During his two-month residency at KABUFF E-WERK, Jacek Vasina engages with dust as both a material and a social phenomenon. Drawing on his observation of daily activities in the studios, as well as a reflection on his own presence within the space, Camper examines how artistic production is inseparable from its byproducts and the conditions of its emergence.

Dust – accumulating through everyday activity and quietly registering its traces—appears both as residue and as a repository of these processes. Rather than introducing a new installation, Vasina approaches the existing space—its studios, objects, and accumulated matter – as an ongoing diary.
